Parksluizen pumping station (Rotterdam - The Netherlands)

The festive opening of the extended and renovated Parksluizen pumping station took place at the Coolhaven in Rotterdam in October 2008. Parksluizen pumping station is part of the Delfland District Water Board’s waste and storage capacity programme. The pumping station protects the area behind it by regulating sudden increases in water quantity.

In addition to commercial doors with fanlights, Merford supplied transformer doors for the transformer rooms in which the pumping station driving gear is located.
